F\u00fcr meine Halloween-begeisterte Astrid ging es heute zum pumpkin patch ins Dallas Arboretum.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">In der Fr\u00fch wollten wir Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck beim Walmart nebenan besorgen. Aber in Texas ticken die Walmarts anders. Anstelle des Deli gleich neben der B\u00e4ckerei ist das Deli ganz hinten und hat quasi au\u00dfer Sachen aus der Fritteuse nichts. Nicht mal die \u00fcblichen guten und g\u00fcnstigen Sandwiches gibt es. Also einmal Chicken-Popcorn (war auch schon mal frischer) f\u00fcr Astrid und ein mal Wurst f\u00fcr mich (weil Brot hatten wir noch). Das weitere Ph\u00e4nomen ist Unterw\u00e4sche. Seit dem wir in Texas sind, sind die G\u00e4nge mit Unterw\u00e4sche v\u00f6llig leer und ausverkauft (bis auf die Gr\u00f6\u00dfen S und XXL). Ich wollte noch einmal was nachkaufen (weil wir haben uns vorgenommen nicht zu waschen, sondern zu kaufen und nach hause mitzunehmen), aber seit Texas geht da garnix. Keine Ahnung was sie hier mit Unterw\u00e4sche machen.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Das Arboretum ist wieder sehr kompliziert beim Karten kaufen. Man mu\u00df dies online tun und da mu\u00df man wieder genau das Gate und den Zeitpunkt buchen. Die Parkplatzgeb\u00fchr kommt dann auch gleich dazu. Wir haben uns f\u00fcr Gate 1 mit Parkplatz (und damit entgegen Gate 4 und Parkhaus) entschieden. Die Anfahrt ging mit wenig Stau. Darauf haben wir gehofft, da es ja Sonntag war. TomTom hat auch keinen Fehler gemacht und so kamen wir quasi stressfrei an. <\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/1PMr62lVpmOr_nBV9JHoNJx44Bu-TXsS9.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"508\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Beim Eingang wurden wir schon darauf hingewiesen, da\u00df alle Tickets restlos ausverkauft sind und man nur mit bereits online erworbenen Tickets \u00fcberhaupt reinfahren darf. Am Parkplatz ging die Suche nach einem freien Platz los und wenn es mal eng wird, sind Amerikaner unbrauchbar und nervig. Wir konnten uns aber bald in einen Platz quetschen und ab ging es zum Eingang. Wir fanden keine Skulpturen wie beim <a href=\"https:\/\/chbwien.blogspot.com\/2015\/10\/das-dallas-arboretum.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">letzten mal<\/a>. Dabei waren sie so gierig auf Koster, da\u00df man quasi hingezerrt wurde. Sehr nett und ganz ok zum Kosten. Weiters gibt es ein eigenes Pumkin Village, wo einige der bekannten Figuren (H\u00e4user) wiederzufinden sind. Die Kutsche ist weg. Sie zeigen diese aber immer noch gerne auf Postern und Flaggen. Auch die Fahrt bis zur Stra\u00dfe wurde zum Abenteuer. \u00dcberall rannten Kinder und Amerikaner rum. Kaum zu unterscheiden wer schlimmer war. Wir wollten noch ein paar h\u00fcbsche Bilder von Downtown aufnehmen. Aufgrund des Menschenschocks hat Astrid auf Aussteigen verzichtet und wir sind nur im Auto durchgefahren.
