Danach folgte ein f\u00fcr mich neuer Abschnitt der I70, da ich bisher immer \u00fcber den Coral Reef NP im S\u00fcden gefahren bin. Das Highlight des Tages kam dann am Nachmittag mit dem Colorado NM:<\/p>\n<p> <iframe loading=\"lazy\" height=\"480\" marginheight=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/maps.google.at\/maps?f=q&amp;hl=de&amp;q=http:%2F%2Fwww.is.tuwien.ac.at%2Ffortec%2Fchb%2Ffotos%2Fusa2010%2F20100910.kmz&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;ll=39.00211,-110.43457&amp;spn=4.097807,7.03125&amp;z=7&amp;output=embed\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"640\" marginwidth=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe>  <br \/><small><a style=\"text-align: left; color: #0000ff\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.at\/maps?f=q&amp;hl=de&amp;q=http:%2F%2Fwww.is.tuwien.ac.at%2Ffortec%2Fchb%2Ffotos%2Fusa2010%2F20100910.kmz&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;ll=39.00211,-110.43457&amp;spn=4.097807,7.03125&amp;z=7&amp;source=embed\">Gr\u00f6\u00dfere Kartenansicht<\/a><\/small>   <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Noch bevor wir losgefahren sind, mu\u00dfte ich ein paar Fotos von meinen Lieblingsblumen machen; im Morgenlicht sehen die einfach zu gut aus:<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/DSCF8521_re5B25D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"826\"> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Der erste Abschneider \u00fcber den normalen Highway war sehr h\u00fcbsch, aber die I70 ist f\u00fcr eine Autobahn total ungew\u00f6hnlich. Die 4 Spuren winden sich durch enge T\u00e4ler das es eine Freude ist. Aussichtspunkte und Rastpl\u00e4tze lockern das ganze auf. Wenn es keine Interstate w\u00e4re, so w\u00e4re es wohl ein Scenic Byway. Hier ein Beispiel von einem netten Aussichtspunkt mit Aussicht auf den devils canyon:<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/DSCF8524_8528_re5B25D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"296\"> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Der Rest der I70 ist dann bedeutend weniger spannend (ca. ab Green River), aber man kann ja nicht nur superh\u00fcbsche Autobahn haben.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Nachdem das Zelt seinen Platz gefunden hat, sind wir zum Colorado NM gefahren. Zugegebenerma\u00dfen war es das 3. mal, aber dieses mal habe ich die Fahrtrichtung der Runde ge\u00e4ndert, soda\u00df sich v\u00f6llig neue Blickwinkel gezeigt haben. Schon die Auffahrt ist anders:<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/P1010437_re5B25D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"609\"> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Auch der Tunnel macht von der Seite einen h\u00fcbscheren Eindruck:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/P1010441_re5B25D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"664\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/P1010442_re5B25D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"728\"> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Kaum oben, hat man bereits einen wundervollen Blick ins Tal zur\u00fcck:<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/DSCF8536_8539_re5B25D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"208\"> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Der Ute Canyon ist der l\u00e4ngste im NM. Er misst knappe 6km. Hier ein Ausblick in den unteren Teil:<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/DSCF8546_8554_re5B25D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"427\"> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Und das ganze noch einmal von einem h\u00f6heren Aussichtspunkt aus:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/DSCF8556_8560_re5B25D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"352\"> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Ein k\u00fcrzerer Canyon (dessen Namen ich mir mal wieder nicht gemerkt habe) ist genauso h\u00fcbsch:<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/DSCF8599_8603_re5B25D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"403\"> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Die Independence Column darf bei dem Besuch nat\u00fcrlich nicht fehlen:<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/P1010467_re5B25D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Im gleichen Aussichtsbereich finden sich nette andere S\u00e4ulen:<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/DSCF8629_re5B25D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Damit blieb nur mehr die Abfahrt und der Weg zum Zelt. <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/P1010474_re5B25D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Dort warteten schon mexikanisch gew\u00fcrzte H\u00fchnerk\u00e4ulen darauf gegrillt und verspeist zu werden.
