Sonnig? Ja, der Wettergott hatte doch einsehen und g\u00f6nnte mir auch in der Fr\u00fch noch sonniges Wetter. Nur leider wollte keiner mein Eintrittsgeld, niemand war da. Also mal in den Garten geschaut, der ohnehin offen war.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Die American Rose Society hat in Shreveport den gr\u00f6\u00dften Rosenschaugarten der USA. Im Gegensatz zum Rosentestgel\u00e4nde von Portland ist dieser Garten ein Park und nicht nur Beet an Beet mit Rosen. Alles sehr h\u00fcbsch gemacht, wenngleich im Oktober sicher nicht die bl\u00fchtereichste Zeit ist. Trotzdem fand sich einiges an h\u00fcbschen Rosen:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/5a9c41d9-cb3b-496c-8d2d-39e2c59024e7.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/DSCF4156_re2.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Oder die:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/DSCF4148_re2.jpg\" width=\"870\" height=\"1024\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/DSCF4157_re2.jpg\" width=\"894\" height=\"1024\"> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Die Anordnung ist auf einem gro\u00dfen Wiesengel\u00e4nde mit vielen B\u00e4umen nach Art von alten englischen G\u00e4rten. Man wandelt also zwischen B\u00e4umen und Wiesen von einer Anordnung zur n\u00e4chsten. Und \u00fcberall bl\u00fcht es noch:<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/186cfa18-3056-4a2a-b3e5-9584cb8e01e4.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"740\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/DSCF4172_re2.jpg\" width=\"876\" height=\"1024\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/DSCF4167_re2.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"742\"> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Manchmal werden die Rosen auch rund um Skulpturen gesetzt. Jede \u2018Insel\u2019 wird von einer lokalen Gruppe der Vereinigung (z.B. Los Angeles, Shreveport, \u2026) gestaltet (und wohl auch bezahlt):<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/DSCF4179_re2.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Ganz selten stehen Skulpturen auch alleine rum:<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/DSCF4187_re2.jpg\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\"> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Die Anzahl der immer noch bl\u00fchenden Rosensorten sprengt auf jeden Fall diesen Blog. Aber eine geht noch:<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/DSCF4191_re2.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"710\"> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Zwischendurch sind auch andere Blumen gesetzt (quasi zur Auflockerung). Die werden heftig von allerlei Insekten besucht:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/DSCF4203_re2.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"747\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/5b5462fb-d30d-463a-ab4d-5b536c4e822b.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"769\"> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Schmetterlinge aber auch Riesenwespen haben dort ihre Freude:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/DSCF4222_re2.jpg\" width=\"843\" height=\"1024\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/DSCF4215_re2.jpg\" width=\"809\" height=\"1024\"> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Hier eine der gr\u00f6\u00dferen Anordnungen\/Blumeninseln:<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/DSCF4249_re2.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Nat\u00fcrlich gibt es auch Inseln, die von Privatpersonen gesponsert wurden. Ein riesiger Bereich liegt etwas abseits in einem W\u00e4ldchen und sollte auf keinen Fall \u00fcbersehen werden. Gerade wie ich dort war bl\u00fchte alles sehr h\u00fcbsch:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/DSCF4256_re2.jpg\" width=\"899\" height=\"1024\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/DSCF4300_re2.jpg\" width=\"819\" height=\"1024\"> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Selbst nach \u00fcber 3 Stunden Besuchszeit war die Sonne noch da und machte es zum Vergn\u00fcgen Blumen zu fotographieren. In der ganzen Zeit haben wir jedoch nur ein einziges P\u00e4rchen gesehen, das sich auch den Park angesehen hat. Ich finde, dieser Park ist zu unrecht so vereinsamt!<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Danach ging es schnurstracks in den S\u00fcden, denn das Severe Weather war mir auf den Fersen. Die Fahrt verlief aber weiterhin sehr sonnig, selbst die kurze Pause an einer Rastst\u00e4tte war warm und sonnig. Ich bin daher dem Pfeil Recreation Area gefolgt und hatte diesen netten Rundumblick:<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/DSCF4329_4346_re2.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"136\"> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Eine Bootsrampe auf einer Autobahnrastst\u00e4tte, soetwas habe ich erst einmal in Florida gesehen. Die Idee scheint sich also auszubreiten.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Das Zelt habe ich dann immer noch bei Sonne aufgebaut und den Abend drau\u00dfen verbringen k\u00f6nnen. Erst in der Nacht hat sich dann ein gar heftiges Gewitter gezeigt aber das war mir im Zelt egal, ich habe gut geschlafen.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Der n\u00e4chste Tag war regnerisch und bew\u00f6lkt vorhergesagt.
