Da konnten wir noch ein Foto der hiesigen Sparvariante einer Stra\u00dfe machen: Man baut schon den Untergrund f\u00fcr eine schmale Stra\u00dfe, f\u00e4hrt dann aber nur in der Mitte einmal mit der Teermaschine. Dann kann man single Lane fahren und wenn wer entgegenkommt, h\u00fcpft man auf den Untergrund. Damit ist trotz der Teuerungen Benzin unter 1\u20ac\/l zu bekommen. Ein weiterer Stopp bei Sonic f\u00fcr ein Mittagessen war erheblich entt\u00e4uschend. Wir haben schon bemerkt, da\u00df alle FastFood Restaurants die Frage for here or to go eingestellt haben und immer to go hergeben. Man kann dann schon auch im Restaurant essen, aber das aus COVID Gr\u00fcnden wohl auf eigene Gefahr. Reinigungstrupps haben wir btw noch keine gesehen. Sonic hat offenbar auch sein Sortiment ver\u00e4ndert: Es gibt nichts mehr mit frischen Produkten und die Buns scheinen auch Dauerbuns zu sein (zumindest schmecken sie so). So macht Sonic aber keinen Gaumenspa\u00df mehr.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Der KOA war schnell gefunden und ab ging es zu unserem heutigen Ziel: Colonial Williamsburg. Die gr\u00f6\u00dfte erhaltene historische Stadt, wo auch noch living history zu finden ist. Das Visitor Center ist riesig, es waren aber kaum Leute um 14 Uhr im Center. Wir haben auch auf Tickets verzichtet (je nach Discount um die $45 pro Person), denn in die Stadt darf man gratis rein (ist Teil der normalen Stadt), nur die living history Darsteller lassen einen z.T. nur mit Ticket in die H\u00e4user.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/1LEKWhn-Ih8D56TaCxiYqcgu3nOrOb2gc.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"766\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Parken ist btw gratis, nur der Shuttle Bus kostet $5, wobei der nette Mann am Infoschalter meinte, die 15 Minuten Fu\u00dfweg sollte man schon machen und kann sich so die $5 sparen. 15 Minuten sp\u00e4ter waren wir dann am \u2018Eingang\u2019 der Stadt. Nur die Sonne war einmal mehr hinter dicken Wolken versteckt.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/1M8LbvWX8k2zX2gfScezjB14PqO5BQcoO.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"766\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Nach der ersten Orientierung habe ich immer dann die Fotos gemacht, wenn dann doch die Sonne rauskam. Das macht Fotographieren gleich noch einmal so spannend. BTW, heute sind wieder alle Fotos mit dem Handy gemacht worden, weil es so sonnig ausgesehen hat, als k\u00f6nnte uns die \u2018Sonne\u2019 in Tropfenform auf den Kopf fallen.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/10xF9poPZfZKp4R4RCG8YIv-p9ZRQoBkm.jpg\" width=\"1023\" height=\"766\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Der Darsteller erkl\u00e4rt, wie das so mit den Musketen war und feuert auch seine alle halben Stunden ab. Er m\u00f6chte z.B. klarstellen, da\u00df es f\u00fcr gerade mal 1% der Soldaten eine Muskete gab (die Dinger waren teuer). Man konnte gerade mal so 100m damit schie\u00dfen und dann auch nicht gezielt. Mehr so in die Masse schie\u00dfen und schauen was passiert.
