Korrekt, man nutzt den Starbucks im gleichen Geb\u00e4ude. Die Drinks sind weniger s\u00fc\u00df als in den USA (yeah!), kosten ungef\u00e4hr so viel wie bei uns, aber die Torten sind daf\u00fcr exorbitant teuer. Aber egal, so gest\u00e4rkt ging es zu Fu\u00df in die Chinatown. Gleich als erstes findet man das Hotel mit den B\u00e4umen. Ist nicht so toll beschrieben, aber ein Foto macht alles klar.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"20241003_091941\" style=\"margin: 0px; border: 0px currentcolor; display: inline; background-image: none;\" border=\"0\" alt=\"20241003_091941\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/20241003_091941.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"20241003_092406\" style=\"border: 0px currentcolor; display: inline; background-image: none;\" border=\"0\" alt=\"20241003_092406\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/20241003_092406.jpg\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">\u00dcberraschend f\u00fcr mich ist, da\u00df Singapur als Amtssprache Englisch hat (neben anderen Sprachen). Und tats\u00e4chlich reden dort quasi alle englisch. Hier zeigte sich der Unterschied zwischen Theorie und Realit\u00e4t. Laut Web-Seiten geht alles bei den \u00d6ffis nur mehr mit elektronischen Zahlmethoden. Das ist korrekt. Um aber eine 3tages-Karte zu kaufen, nehmen sie nur Bares. Au\u00dfer man kauft die Karte nicht beim angeschriebenen Touristenpa\u00dfschalter der \u00d6ffis, sondern beim Supermarkt in der Haltestelle. Die nehmen auch Kreditkarten. Mit den Karten bewaffnet, haben wir uns zur Seilbahn, die spannenderweise Cable Car hei\u00dft aufgemacht. Alle U-Bahnen sind fahrerlos, bei Bambardier gebaut und haben die Sicherheitst\u00fcren am Bahnsteig.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"20241003_095944\" style=\"margin: 0px; border: 0px currentcolor; display: inline; background-image: none;\" border=\"0\" alt=\"20241003_095944\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/20241003_095944.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"20241003_101350\" style=\"border: 0px currentcolor; display: inline; background-image: none;\" border=\"0\" alt=\"20241003_101350\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/20241003_101350.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Bei der Seilbahn angekommen war Astrid schon ersch\u00f6pft, weil das Umsteigen zwischen zwei U-Bahnen echt lange M\u00e4rsche beinhaltet. Daher sind wir mal gem\u00fctlich die Runde gefahren. Erst auf den Berg rauf, wo einem aber vom Aussteigen abgeraten wird, weil man sehr lange warten mu\u00df, bis man wieder eine freie Gondel zur Weiterfahrt bekommt. Alles was man sich vorstellen kann (Universal Studios, Madame Tussauds, Wasserparkt, Aquarium, \u2026) ist auf der Insel. Die Querlinienseilbahn war aber an dem Tag nicht in Betrieb. Da gibt es nur Samurai Burger, keine normalen. Schmecken aber \u00fcberraschend gut. Damit man sich auch so richtig asiatisch f\u00fchlt, gibt es auch eine ganze Reihe an Spielautomaten mit anstrengender Musik.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"20241003_113750\" style=\"border: 0px currentcolor; display: inline; background-image: none;\" border=\"0\" alt=\"20241003_113750\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/20241003_113750.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Danach ging es ins Hotel, wo wir dann schon ein wenig fr\u00fcher unser Zimmer bekommen haben. Astrid mu\u00dfte rasten und wir konnten uns die langen Hosen und T-Shirts gegen kurze tauschen. Und um 15 Uhr ging es schon auf die n\u00e4chste Runde in die Bay-Area. Astrid wieder mit Koffein aufgeputscht und \u00fcber den Riverwalk zur anderen U-Bahn gelotst. Dabei haben wir den ersten kleinen Supermarkt gefunden, wo Astrid je eine Tasse rosa Drachenfrucht und Pomelo gekauft hat. Wir wissen jetzt: Die Drachenfrucht wird einem hier mit 2.50 die Tasse nachgeworfen, die billige Pomelo kostet das doppelte. Das ist eine sehr nette Revitalisierung. Also brav die Karte aufheben. Wir wollten \u2018das Schiff\u2019 in der Bay-Area sehen und tats\u00e4chlich kamen wir mitten im Einkaufszentrum davon raus. Da gibt es zwar nur extrem teure Marken, da ist unser 1. Bezirk ein Dreck dagegen, aber es schaut einfach nur geil aus. Die Designer m\u00fcssen Anleihen von las Vegas genommen haben, weil es gibt ein Casino, eine B\u00fchne und Luxusgesch\u00e4fte in gro\u00dfen Mengen. Incl. Museum, Riesenrad, Helixbr\u00fccke, das Schiff-Hotel, \u2026 alles mit Palmen ges\u00e4umt. Gegen Geld kann man seine Figuren einscannen lassen und die werden dann Teil des Kunstwerkes. Das ist eine geniale Idee: Ich bekomme Grafiken gratis und verlange auch noch etwas daf\u00fcr<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"20241003_172646\" style=\"border: 0px currentcolor; display: inline; background-image: none;\" border=\"0\" alt=\"20241003_172646\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/20241003_172646.jpg\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Die Helixbr\u00fccke schwingt btw spannend und macht die Nachtfotos um einen Tick spannender. Da war es aber einerseits voll und andererseits konnte sich Astrid mit wenig anfreunden. Daher eine Runde mit Beleuchtung und ab in die U-Bahn. Aber egal, so gest\u00e4rkt ging es zu Fu\u00df in die Chinatown. Gleich als erstes findet man das Hotel mit den B\u00e4umen. Ist nicht so toll beschrieben, aber ein Foto macht alles klar. \u00dcberraschend f\u00fcr mich ist, da\u00df Singapur als Amtssprache Englisch hat (neben anderen Sprachen). Und tats\u00e4chlich reden dort quasi alle englisch.
