Die Anfahrt ist einfach, weil der Zoo direkt neben der Interstate liegt. Leider ist es dort dementsprechend laut und die k\u00fcnstliche Sounduntermalung verfehlt aufgrund des hohen Ger\u00e4uschpegels ihr Ziel. Parken kostet auch gleich mal $5, obwohl sie da nur an der Kassa fragen, ob man eh mit dem Auto gekommen ist und sie hauen die $5 zu den Tickets dazu.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Der Zoo hat einen \u00d3st- und Westteil. Soll hei\u00dfen Asien und Afrika. In der Mitte das B\u00e4rengehege.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/1YujUQxcmiCpztlMWzpthpgu3Y_rQTquG.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/1BUCK0hbctJq_-KtRDmgtxYeAqiGmq1rL.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Der Zoo scheint recht neu zu sein und ist dementsprechend h\u00fcbsch gestaltet. Die Hauptzielrichtung sind ganz offensichtlich Kinder, denn \u00fcberall gibt es Spielpl\u00e4tze und alles wird kindgerecht erkl\u00e4rt. Erwachsene sind wohl vorwiegend mit Restaurants zu locken, denn man k\u00f6nnte auch Fre\u00dfmeile mit Tieren zum Zoo sagen. <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wlEmoticon wlEmoticon-smile\" alt=\"Smile\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/1bcXi8tX2FfN9RTxXpy4G0wTH9_8750L2.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/1dU7Ir97vma38geNRf9U-HCUChBXQPq_-.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">20$ Eintritt f\u00fcr einen kleinen Zoo ist nicht wenig. Und trotzdem wird versucht noch mehr Geld zu machen. Eine winzige Runde Kamelreiten (2 Kinder pro Kamel) pro Kind $6. Das Kamel war btw auch noch unhappy gehen zu m\u00fcssen.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/1YRolxHk3qDHab8pWSWjX0HWLBh8Szx-5.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Das einzige aktuelle Junge in Afrika ist eine Giraffe. Der Schimpanse denkt wohl tiefsinniger.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">&#160;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/1473hNN-QcATLntl5ShS5A4gnTXdifU7d.jpg\" width=\"683\" height=\"1024\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/1vqvGJ5Nh_qpiO-kCijWVwpEu_Hx_yh8Z.jpg\" width=\"683\" height=\"1024\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Die Fl\u00e4che des Zoos t\u00e4uscht ein wenig; es sind nicht so gar arg viele Tiere und Gehege, sie haben nur gro\u00dfe Gehege gebaut, die in h\u00fcbscher Landschaft eingebettet sind. Angeblich sind sie dort der weltf\u00fchrende Zoo im Bereich Zucht roter Pandas. Sie haben da auch jede Menge Junge, der Papa ist gerade in Einzelhaft.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/1TDylcNTZjIizdTSCgR7Mlb3U_nzVVCnM.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/1dM_m83zJKNMQmgIcrggmkePRhdw5ApTp.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Der Tiger hat ein riesiges Gehege, das man am besten vom Affenberg aus einsieht. Im Wasser sind auch gleich die Biber untergebracht.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/1AzC7I7H-xsN2dHFJovI4Ga_JzYTJhOn8.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/1VPTPg0C3kkTdBvWMkFKFUd8SW8KRUGUZ.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Rund um den Streichelzoo gibt es noch jede Menge Kinderspielsachen und Restaurants. Oben am Berg sind Reptilien. Da sind die Gehege aber echt altmodisch und grauslich.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/1cHDQEXsDY5iPNJWf262fGUbMWF8u-0ax.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Insgesamt ein neumodischer und netter aber doch kleiner Zoo, der preislich eher teuer ist. Als Test f\u00fcr meine neue Sony Kamera gab es einiges zu tun und sie hat sich wirklich hervorragend geschlagen. Man kann die Lumix doch tats\u00e4chlich in allen Bereichen noch ein wenig \u00fcberbieten.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Weiter ging es nach Pigeon Forge, Heimat von Dollywood. Wir waren jetzt nicht in Dollywood, sondern gleich daneben in Parrot Mountain. Dort sollte es jede Menge exotischer V\u00f6gel auch in direkter Interaktion geben. Zuvor waren wir aber noch bei Taco Bell, denn das Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck ist einfach ausgefallen; das was sie Gratisfr\u00fchst\u00fcck im Motel nennen, wollten wir nicht. Ich erw\u00e4hne Taco Bell deswegen, weil es das erste Fastfood Restaurant in den USA ist, das das elektronische Ordersystem wie bei uns nun schon \u00fcblich, hatte.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/1C87Lf09r8XK3-O-o7qm0WrOUT7lnisWv.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Die Einfahrt zum Parrot Mountain ist abenteuerlich. Astrid sagt noch, \u2018boa, hast Du die steile Auffahrt gesehen\u2019 und schon hatten wir die n\u00e4chste mit ganz sicher mehr als 25% Steigung. Oben ist ein eher kleiner Parkplatz, aber mit Gl\u00fcck und Warten haben wir noch einen Spot gefunden. Oder, wie einem die W\u00e4rter sagen, pfl\u00fccke Dir jeden Vogel wenn er will. Nur die V\u00f6gel dort waren bei Hitchcock in der Lehre und kaum ist man drinnen, wird man regelrecht attackiert. F\u00fcr ein paar Kinder war das dann doch zu viel.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/18gVc7bngyGEeqdgn2597xXbrrYMwH76b.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Der ganze Garten ist religi\u00f6s angehaucht. Statuen und Texte aus der Bibel, viele Gehege sind seltsam \u00fcberbaut. Ich w\u00fcrde ja darauf tippen, sie hatten einen religi\u00f6sen Garten, den keiner sehen wollte und haben ihn in den Papageiengarten umgebaut. Sind aber nur b\u00f6se Gedanken. Hier einer der wenigen Orte, wo sie noch keinen Papagei haben.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/1USFfNYuIeZm7Tg3f1lMG8ypmtognHFQP.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Wir sind nat\u00fcrlich noch auf eine zweite Runde gegangen, jetzt waren wir ja schon ge\u00fcbte Vogelb\u00e4ndiger. Ob es tiergerecht ist, will ich jetzt nicht beurteilen m\u00fcssen. Sie tauschen aber die Tiere im Menschenkontakt st\u00e4ndig aus und es laufen viele W\u00e4rter rum, die helfen und kontrollieren. F\u00fcr Tierliebhaber ein absolutes Mu\u00df. F\u00fcr Leute mit Vogelphobien wohl eher nix.
