Unser Startpunkt war praktisch schon im NP, also war der Anfang leicht.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe> <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Ein Gro\u00dfteil der Halbinsel, die direkt an Kanada anschlie\u00dft, ist ein Nationalpark. Dabei hat man Berge, Regenw\u00e4lder, Seen und Meer. Damit ist der NP einer der vielf\u00e4ltigsten. Die Bergstra\u00dfe hat vor kurzem gebrannt und sie ist aktuell nur teiler\u00f6ffnet: gute 400 Autos d\u00fcrfen da nur gleichzeitig drinnen sein. Wir haben daher entschlossen, den Bergteil lassen wir aus. Berge hatten wir schon und Stau und Warten mu\u00df nicht sein.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Daher sind wir nach dem \u00fcblichen Tank- und Einkaufsbesuch bei Safeway direkt zur Sektion mit dem Regenwald gefahren. Am See sollte einer sein, also nix wie hin. Wir haben aber nach einem Sonnenplatz gesucht, denn ohne Sonne ist es aktuell ziemlich frisch drau\u00dfen (52\u00b0F in der Fr\u00fch). Wir waren nicht mehr so \u00fcberrascht, da\u00df die Strecke nur f\u00fcr Autos und nicht f\u00fcr RVs geeignet war. Da konnten wir die Rolls von Safeway (K\u00e4se und Sesam) verspeisen. Hoh kommt aber nicht von Weihnachten, der zugeh\u00f6rige Indianerstamm nennt sich Hoh. An der Abzweigung wurden wir vor Delays wegen Bauarbeiten gewarnt, aber die sollten erst am sp\u00e4teren Nachmittag stattfinden. Also nichts wie rein. Die Baustelle war aber eh nicht das Problem, aber da so viele Leute unterwegs waren und der Parkplatz limitiert ist, haben sie einfach \u2018metered entrance\u2019 eingef\u00fchrt. Auch hier: Nur wenn ein Auto rauskommt, darf wieder eines rein. Und schon standen wir f\u00fcr eine gute halbe Stunde im Stau vor der Einfahrt. Sie verlangen \u00fcbrigens nur f\u00fcr ganz wenige Einfahrten den vollen NP Preis von $30. Mini, Hall of Moss und zum Flu\u00df. Astrid mit ihrem Bein ging Mini (mit mir), ich habe zus\u00e4tzlich noch Hall of Moss gemacht. Und ja, Regenwald gibt es auch ohne Tropen. In der Gegend kommt der Regen von Westen und staut sich am Berg an. Zudem kommt auch der Nebel vom Westen und h\u00e4ngt ebenfalls im Berg. Wenn die Umfallen kracht es nicht nur laut, dann liegen echte Berge im Weg. Dann schaut das Moos gleich echt h\u00fcbsch aus. Nix besonderes. Wir haben uns daher rangehalten den Campingplatz noch bei Licht zu erreichen, wo wir uns wieder einmal selbstversorgt haben, da dort absolut nichts ist.
