Es blieb aber alles v\u00f6llig trocken. Das bekommt das neue Zelt wenigstens gut hin. Am n\u00e4chsten morgen war es aber deutlich weniger sonnig als erwartet.<\/p>\n<p> <iframe loading=\"lazy\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/d\/embed?mid=1Ejee837o7tM-ULhozY485TCViQJDBGs&amp;ehbc=2E312F\" width=\"640\"><\/iframe>   <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Wir haben daher auf ein gem\u00fctliches Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck verzichtet und sind zum Walmart gefahren, um ein paar fehlende Dinge zu besorgen. Dabei haben wir auch Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck f\u00fcr unterwegs besorgt. Und schon waren wir auf dem Weg zur Grotte des Erl\u00f6sers.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/1ve9-aFJnMWyHe29EYldJPgdYBaeab272.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Der Name klingt schon ein wenig eigen und die Geschichte ist auch eigen. Ein preussischer junger Mann geht mit 20 Jahren in die USA und will dort Pfarrer werden. W\u00e4hrend seiner Ausbildung wird Dobberstein mit einer Lungenentz\u00fcndung schwer krank. Er bittet Maria um Unterst\u00fctzung und bietet im Gegenzug ein Bauwerk an. Offenbar wurde der Deal angenommen, denn Dobberstein \u00fcberlebte und wurde 1897 Pfarrer. Er hat seinen Auftrag ernst genommen und begann wie ein wilder die verschiedensten Steine zu sammeln. Auch Quarze, versteinerte B\u00e4ume, Stalagmiten und alles was gl\u00e4nzt.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/1atrGcdzordlcMdUQ22mpSya6NL0lI_Dv.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/1v0_9N5xpPlaRQXaAesFrfQUchmtptS-9.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">1912 begann er mit den Bauarbeiten in West Bend, einer wirklich kleinen Gemeinde in Iowa. Ein zweiter Pfarrer kam dazu und 2 weitere Helfer. Ein Helfer war gerade mal 6 Jahre wie er begann. Magnete und Co gibt es btw im Gift-Shop nicht, nur die \u00fcblichen Wahlfahrtssachen. Schade.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Nur eine halbe Stunde mit dem Auto weiter ist dann doch die Sonne durchgekommen. Langsam, und am Boden war es immer noch diesig\/neblig.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/1oYspJrQQ_GwhMfsusfCDzI9OmroFeO40.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Am Campingplatz in Sioux Falls war es aber schon strahlend sonnig. Wir haben das Zelt aufgebaut, bevor wir zu den Wasserf\u00e4llen fuhren, denn das Zelt will man nicht so gerne im Dunkeln aufstellen.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/1X4IsA_jsYQXHfGbE06K_6PC9NtuJB3u6.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Beim Aufstellen kam ein nettes kleines Wohnmobil vorbei. Das war kein Thema mehr. Sie haben sich dann auf die nat\u00fcrlichen Wasserf\u00e4lle geeinigt. Auch eine sehr schmackhafte Variante, die man wieder mal haben kann.
