Da aber Mari an dem Tag an einem Fu\u00dfballturnier teilnehmen mu\u00dfte, blieb uns nicht so viel Zeit. Maris Mutter hat uns zu einem kleinen Diner zum Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck eingeladen (DANKE!!!). Astrid nahm sich auf dringendes Anraten von Mari Mickey Mouse Pancakes, ich hatte mexikanisches Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck. Mein mexikanisches Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck war mehr als ich schaffen konnte (und war wirklich gut!), die Mickey Mouse Pancakes schauen super aus (und haben auch gut geschmeckt). Nur merke, das in der Mitte ist nicht Vanilleeis sondern Butter. <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wlEmoticon wlEmoticon-smile\" alt=\"Smiley\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/wlEmoticon-smile25255B225255D.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/2013-05-12-757_re25255B225255D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"748\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Mit Hilfe des TomToms kamen wir schnell aus der Stadt und nach einigen Meilen des Fahrens, wollten wir ein wenig das Gef\u00fchl der Historic Route 66 haben. Also sind wir vom Freeway abgefahren und konnten ganz schnell feststellen, was \u2018open range\u2019\u2019 bedeutet: Die K\u00fche stehen bis zum Fahrbahnrand:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/3520ab1c-be13-4b0c-93c5-bd56cc62a97b.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"750\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Wir haben sicher nicht den spannendsten Teil der route 66 erwischt, aber es ist doch ein ganz anderes cruisen als das hektische Fahren auf dem Freeway:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/P1070101_re25255B225255D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"568\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/P1070105_re25255B225255D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"569\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/P1070116_re25255B225255D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"763\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Viele St\u00e4dtchen sind schon ziemlich verlassen, die route 66 hat sicher schon viel bessere Tage gesehen.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Drei Stunden sp\u00e4ter haben wir bereits unser Besichtigungsziel erreicht: der Petrified Forest NP hat eine eigene Ausfahrt von der Interstate 40. Zun\u00e4chst kommt man aber in den Teil der colored desert. Und man bekommt, was der Name verspricht:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF2077_2081_re25255B325255D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"405\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF2091_2096_re25255B325255D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"319\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Am Wegesrand wachsen aber viele Blumen, die man im Herbst nicht mehr sieht.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF2097_re25255B225255D.jpg\" von jedem Winkel des Parks sind bei dem Wetter vorprogrammiert:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" namengebenden versteinerten Wald: Im NP hei\u00dft das Crystal Forest. \u00dcberall liegen versteinerte Baumst\u00e4mme herum:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
