Also nix wie weg vom Campingplatz. Die Eidechse hat uns bei unserem Treiben gen\u00fcsslich beobachtet:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF1147_re2.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Nach einem sp\u00e4ten Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck oder fr\u00fchen Mittagessen (wie man es sehen will) ging es in die Berge in Richtung Carson City. John Weng hat schon bemerkt, wie bergig es bei Carson City ist und auch das Auto darf sich etwas m\u00fchen:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF1149_re2.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF1161_re2.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF1164_re2.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Die ersten Wolken waren wie zu erwarten in Sicht, obwohl so viele Wolken hat Gottfried nun auch wieder nicht angesagt. Die Stra\u00dfen kurven jedenfalls heftig weiter und man legt H\u00f6henmeter um H\u00f6henmeter zur\u00fcck:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/P1060955_re2.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"760\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/P1060963_re2.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"721\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Faszinierend sind dabei die \u00fcberall schneebedeckten Gipfel, die manchmal ziemlich nahe sind. Die Temperatur sank auch entsprechend. Hatten wir beim Mittagessen noch gute 90\u00b0F waren es am Berg knappe 70\u00b0F.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF1170_re2.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF1189_re2.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Beim Mono Lake waren die Wolken echt in der Mehrheit, nur auf den Gipfeln ringsum waren noch ein paar Sonnenstrahlen zu sehen:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/ea11625a-0afc-4325-a102-40f9741fbc75.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"603\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Die Tufas waren daher bei weitem nicht so sch\u00f6n bunt wie sonst. Mostly sunny war dazu die Vorhersage\u2026<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF1221_re2.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF1225_re2.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Gegen Bishop, unserem Tagesziel mit Motel gegen die K\u00e4lte (normalerweise gegen die Hitze des nahen Death Valleys), zeigte sich hie und da die Sonne.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF1237_re2.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Die Motels der Gegend waren total ausgebucht, wir hatten zum Gl\u00fcck eine Reservierung. Das Motel selbst war klein, aber ganz ok. Der Preis aber doch eher hoch. Wir sind am Abend in dem Kaff ins Kino gegangen: Iron Man 3 wollte gesehen werden. Und tats\u00e4chlich, der Film ist gut.
