Sie bauen dort die ganze Autobahn um, es herrscht also mittleres Chaos. Im hinteren Bereich kann man (scheinbar? oder haben wir die Zahlstelle nur nicht gesehen) gratis parken. Der kurze Fu\u00dfweg zur neu errichteten Schauzone ist kein Problem. Und von dort sieht man echt gut auf die Golden Gate Bridge:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF1080_re25255B225255D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF1089_re25255B225255D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Der Typ hat btw als Hauptingenieur die Bauarbeiten geleitet: Mr. Strauss:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF1081_re25255B525255D.jpg\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Dann sind wir durch Downtown\u2026<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/P1060923_re25255B225255D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/P1060925_re25255B225255D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">\u2026 zum Cable Car Museum gefahren, aber wir haben es nur von au\u00dfen gesehen: Es war nirgends ein Parkplatz aufzutreiben. Und wir haben echt gesucht und h\u00e4tten auch etwas daf\u00fcr bezahlt\u2026 Naja, sind wir eben zum Coit Tower gefahren. Dort darf man sogar gratis oben vor der Eingangst\u00fcre parken. Die Aussicht bei dem Wetter ist einfach traumhaft. <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<p align=\"justify\">Fangen wir mit Fisherman\u2019s Wharf an (da am Parkplatz steht unser Auto <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wlEmoticon wlEmoticon-smile\" alt=\"Smiley\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/wlEmoticon-smile25255B225255D.png\" \/> ): <\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF1095_re25255B225255D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"728\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Gehen wir zum Blick auf die Golden Gate Bridge \u00fcber:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF1096_re25255B225255D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"974\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Alcatraz (da habe ich es immer noch nicht zu einer Besuchstour hin geschafft):<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF1099_re25255B225255D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Selbst die Sicht auf das alte Segelschiff ist bei dem Wetter ungetr\u00fcbt:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF1100_re25255B225255D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Unser n\u00e4chstes Ziel war auch nicht weit und man konnte schon die vielen Autos runterfahren sehen: die <a href=\"http:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lombard_Street\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lombard Street<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF1102_re25255B225255D.jpg\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Downtown mit seinen Hochh\u00e4usern ist immer ein Foto wert:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF1104_re25255B225255D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"848\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Vor dem Runterfahren haben wir noch einen Blick zur Bay Bridge geworfen, \u00fcber die wir San Francisco am Nachmittag wieder verlassen haben:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF1106_re25255B225255D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"641\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Die Fahrt zur Lombard Street dauert kaum 5 Minuten und von dort sieht man den Coit Tower auch sehr gut:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF1113_re25255B625255D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"651\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Die Lombard Street sind weniger spannend aus, wenn man sie runter f\u00e4hrt. Aber das mu\u00df man wohl gemacht haben:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/P1060931_re25255B225255D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"766\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/08e63a02-6d24-4408-937b-b17ea85837b4.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"740\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Am oberen Ende der Lombard Street f\u00e4hrt die Cable Car Linie runter zum Fisherman\u2019s Wharf. Wir sind ihr gefolgt:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">&#160;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/P1060939_re25255B225255D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"694\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/P1060940_re25255B225255D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"684\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF1117_re25255B225255D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Unten f\u00e4hrt man entlang der Tram:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.chbworld.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCF1129_re25255B225255D.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"684\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Die nachmitt\u00e4gliche Heimfahrt wurde zur extremen Nervenprobe, denn alle wollten am Freitag Nachmittag raus. Daher war Megastau angesagt. Da hatte auch TomTom seinen Tiefpunkt, denn mit so viel Stau konnte er nicht wirklich umgehen. Er wollte immer neue k\u00fcrzere Routen finden und war dabei so langsam, da\u00df wir 1 Stunde im Kreis gefahren sind. Da wurde der Stau dann so richtig b\u00f6se. Wir sahen nur so nebenbei, da\u00df Sacramento mit 97\u00b0F einen ziemlichen Hitzerekord eingefahren hat. Und so dauerte der Heimweg wesentlich l\u00e4nger als geplant. Die Sp\u00e4tnachmittagsaktivit\u00e4ten wie Pool oder Minigolf sind da leider ausgefallen. Wenigstens Grillen war angesagt: Corn on the Cobb und Huhn Bahia Art.
